February Meeting:
Keeping Motivation and Positive Attitude High in Tough Times
Presented by Jan Ballerm President POTENTIAL PLUS+
Hosted by the National MS Society

It's pretty easy to keep your attitude positive during good times.  You have lots of "wins" and positive energy around you.  But during tough times, you really have to be disciplined and know how to work at staying positive, because you get a lot more help with the "doom and gloom" side of things.  Research tells us that emotional intelligence is a key ingredient in our ability to be successful--in both the good and the bad times.  Emotional intelligence is our ability to use the power of our emotions intelligently--so they are working for us and not against us.  It is also our ability to get back to a positive state when something has happened that "takes the wind out of our sails."  Jan Baller, owner of POTENTIAL PLUS+ talked on this subject at our February ICSA meeting, and people attending felt it was a very motivational and energizing topic--one that is really important for our times right now.  She offers leadership training, emotional intelligence training, and a whole menu of skills-based training programs on the people side of the business equation.  If you want to check her out further, her web site is www.potential2power.com.  She has sent us the slides from her valuable presentation.  Click here for Jan's presentation.......
